These two unique acetic acid reagents were developed to supplement our family of Hematoxylins. Clarifier 1 and 2 are designed to remove background stain caused by excessive use of tissue adhesive and to increase cell transparency. Both Clarifier 1 and 2 selectively remove hematoxylin staining from excess adhesive without affecting nuclear staining. Additionally, use of Clarifier 1 or 2 will improve contrast between the nuclei and cytoplasm.
