Q: Are the containers bulk packed?
A: Yes. Dry containers are bulk packed and unassembled.
HistoGel
Q: The specimen is fixed in formalin rather than ethanol. Will this have an effect
on HistoGel’s performance?
A: Remove as much supernatent fluid as possible before adding HistoGel to
the specimen, and the performance should not be effected.
Q: The HistoGel is sticking to the HistoScreen Cassette and is difficult to
remove in one piece after processing?
A: The HistoGel may have been above 60°C when making the pellet and placed
in formalin before it was completely set up and solidified. The use of a
cooling device will help prevent this problem.
