Hematoxylin 1 is designed to produce staining intensities similar to Gill 1, 2, and 3 Hematoxylins, based on timing. Differentiation is not necessary; however, Clarifier 1 should be used to eliminate any back-ground staining caused by the use of excessive water bath adhesive. This rapid stain requires no filtration prior to use and will not form crystals upon standing or exposure to cold weather.
