Our electronic, motorized rotary microtomes are designed for all applications of paraffin, semi-thin (HM 360), and hard specimens in clinical, research, and industrial labs. These instruments display extra-ordinary ergonomic characteristics for comfortable operation while maintaining reproducible precision during sectioning.
These instruments feature:
- Retraction (may be turned off)
- Trimming thickness range from 5 to 500 microns
- Movable operating panel for use on left or right side of instrument
- Touch pad keyboard with controls for thickness, mode and speed
- Manual and/or foot pedal control
- Four modes of operation: single, interval, multi, and continuous stroke
- Connection for optional automatic approach system
- XY orientation
- Integrated and spacious section waste tray
- Section thickness range from 0,25 to 60 microns
